Cleaning and Disinfection Equipment

Equipements Bionettoyage et désinfection

The healthcare facilities are facing health challenges such as MDR bacteria (multidrug-resistant bacteria), VRE (vancomycin-resistant enterococci), and COVID-19, creating a sense of insecurity and helplessness. When the number of COVID patients admitted to the hospital decreased, we looked for a sufficiently effective disinfection solution that would allow us to resume regular activities and once again welcome patients into a healthy and controlled environment.

Having already worked with cleaning companies, we turned to steam disinfection. Subsequently, the Nocospray device proved to be essential. The procedures were implemented in collaboration with the hospital’s operational hygiene team. This maintenance method is used to control the risk of surface transmission in a unit or area that has housed COVID patients/residents for several weeks, before welcoming non-COVID patients. It also allows us to intervene more effectively following the admission of patients with scabies. The procedure is the same for both scabies and COVID: after removing linens and waste and ventilating the room, the bio-cleaning process can begin.

Surface disinfection is carried out using the Sanimip Wipeur cleaning device combined with airborne disinfection using the Nocospray device. This ensures the disinfection of all equipment and furniture present in the room. The procedure is simple: drawers and cabinet doors are opened, the bathroom door is opened, the window is closed, and the device is positioned at height on a trolley inside the room. The quantity of product sprayed depends on the volume of the room; once again, the design of the device makes this setting easily accessible to all users. It is a time-consuming process, requiring approximately 3 hours per room.

The combination offered by the Oxypharm Group has proven to be an essential solution in the hygiene process within healthcare facilities, particularly in the current healthcare context. Certified to NF T72-281 and EN 17272, Nocotech is a treatment based on a combination of Nocospray or Nocomax devices and Nocolyse+ liquid product, providing a broad spectrum of efficacy (bactericidal, fungicidal, sporicidal and virucidal).

The Sanivap range, meanwhile, is based on steam treatment, with the injection of water or a hydrogen peroxide solution. Certified to NF T72-110, the system is effective against bacteria, yeasts, fungi, spores and viruses, including coronavirus. The treatments are biodegradable, have no impact on electronic equipment and are safe for health.
